My Photography Story

I have always had a love for photography. At twelve years old my friends and I would take fake senior pictures in my grandmother's garden. When we had sleepovers we were taking photos of each other with my DS. I fell in love with photography after finding brittneypanda on Instagram. My best friend and I would try to imitate her art by taking photos in abandoned houses. Over the years I have attempted almost every genre of photography, with my love always coming back to capturing the interactions between loved ones.

My camera allows me to capture the small things not everyone can see and I love sharing that with the world. Whether that is a tiny bug on a flower or the way that your daughter holds your finger. My camera is a barrier between my greatest fears and the beauty of the world that surrounds me. Although I'm terrified of spiders, when I look at them through my camera the fear disappears. I am an introvert, but with my camera I am confident.

Photography is not just clicking a button.

I have spent hours upon hours perfecting my style and soaking in as much information as possible. But photography is so much more than knowing camera settings and perfecting your editing. Good photography is built on connections. My best photographs are captured when you are interacting with your family and having genuine fun.
